My Little Dreams

Are you a new pet owner, or just new to the Cavalier breed? Well you've come to the perfect place! We take pride in being knowledgeable pet owners and breeders, and this includes sharing what we know with the people we work with.

There's nothing wrong with being new to the pet owner or cavalier owner scene, and we are here to help you learn everything you need to own to provide your pup with the best possible care!
We have taken the time to put together an information pack for owners, this pack includes: A write up on hypoglycemia and one on coccidia, these write ups explain what they are and the symptoms to watch out for as well as what to do in an emergency situation. All Dog owner(and cat owners) should be aware of these(among other things your dog can contract such as parvo) however don't let these things prevent you from getting a puppy, just because it can happen doesn't mean it will, and we will give you all the information you need to keep your pup from getting sick.
The pack also includes the Owning a puppy 101 book, this goes over puppy proofing, Vets, basic supplies, training, feed, Introductions, some common mistakes as well as some suggestions for people raising puppies that have a a job(demanding or not)
Will also come with a sheet for determining what food is best for your puppy in the long run, we have switched our puppy food numerous times for varying reasons and know what to look for in brands, this sheet will help you pick a proper food based on your puppies long-term life style, because with varying lifestyles come varying needs.(more physically demanding life-styles will require your puppy to need a higher protein content in their food) it will also explain what to look for in the company, don't choose a brand that has recently(at least the last 3-5 years) been on a recall list, it will also outline a couple recommended brands(varying costs)
There is also a Crate and Kennel selection sheet to help you pick the proper size Kennel(what you transport them in a vehicle with) or a Crate(for crate training at home) as well as alternate options.
Lastly there will be a budget sheet, before you get a pup you should know how much it could cost your from month to month, this sheet will be based on averages and may vary depending on where you live, we highly recommend looking into things like vet care, food, other care items( brushes, shampoo etc.), a crate and/or kennel, before you get your puppy. We understand its exciting but proper care needs to be affordable before you get a puppy.
This pack can be given at time of pick up or can be requested via email in pdf form. We are happy to answer any additional questions you may have, we are also happy to provide specific pages if you are only wanting information on certain things, and as always sometimes we miss things so if you notice something let us know and we will help out to the best of our ability!
